Professor Tom Kvan was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne in 2007. He was previously Dean of Architecture at the University of Hong Kong and the University of Sydney. He has also practised as an architect in Hong Kong, Botswana and the United States of America.
