Abstract

The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) was established in 2002 with the aim of 'encouraging the adoption of green building practices' (Green Building Council of Australia website, accessed 13 May 2013). The GBCA endorsed the design of the ABP new building. The GBCA developed the Green Star environmental building rating system and a leading education provider on sustainable building practices.
